Parents
who are worried that their children
might be playing near a banker are
to be given the right to be told where
bankers live under new government
measures introduced today.
The
Banker Register records the last known
address of all bankers and it is this
document that worried parents will
have the right to see from today.
This
move by the government seems to be
an initiative aimed at heading off
fears of anti-banker riots thought
to be brewing for later in the year.
Bankers
are now seen as a bigger threat to
children than people in ski masks
with chain saws running at them, according
to a survey for Sky News and The Sun
newspaper.
"I
don't want to clout a banker. I just
want to know where the bastards live,"
said one small businessman refused
a loan only four days ago.
From
November last year all bankers have
had to register with the authorities
and tell them when they are moving
address.
