Stephen Fry's Comments That Women Hate Chocolate Are Offensive, Says Feminist Chocolatier
|
Opineatorial |
Stephen Fry has really gone over the line this time.
Just when I had gotten over the sheer anti gay slur that was the Twining ads, now this.
Fry is reported to have said:
"If women liked chocolate as much as gay men do you would see them queuing outside the Thorntons in Hampstead Heath. But you never do. Where are they?"
What planet does Stephen Fry live on?
Twitterworld me thinks.

Stephen Fry Has Gone Too Far This Time When He Says Kittens Don't Like Playing With Balls Of Wool
|
Enragedatorial |
What is former national treasure Stephen Fry on about, saying that little kittens don't like playing with balls of wool?
He must be off his rocker.
My little Tiddles just can't keep her cute little ickle paws off a ball of wool bought for her last weekend.
She plays with it all the while.
Pick on someone your own size Mr Fry, and keep my Tiddles out of it.
Stephen, dear, do have a thought for whom you are going to upset before being misquoted in the press in future.

SHITV's Darkbreak Audience Slumps To New Low As Strike Hit BBC 1 Replaces Show With Picture Of Kittens
|
The crisis at SHITV's Darkbreak breakfast show continued today with only 4 people watching in the 6.00am to 6:05am slot, according to official Daily Stir figures.
Here's our advice to get the audience up:
1) Adrian Chiles should be allowed to be really grumpy, pick arguments with guests, swear at production staff, throw things etc.
2) Christine Bleakley should host the show from her bed with Frank Lampard sleeping next to her
4) Change the backdrop to something more like the one on US tv's Ellen - we're thinking bright shiny happiness. Even with the changes recently, it's still too bleedin dark.
4) If not 3, swap the studio with Lorraine Kelly's in the dark winter months. (We do accept that the backdrop will look fantastic when it's light.)
