It
has been confirmed that officials from
Al Qaeda are to be invited to a Slough
Town Planners meeting in July in the
hope that they might be encouraged to
perform a series of controlled explosions
in the town centre. A spokesman for
Slough Town Planners defended the invitations:
"It's just one of a couple of cost
effective measures we are developing
in these terror-round-every-corner times.
Attempting to harness the power of international
terrorism to improve inner-city centres
is top on our list of priorities."
