Is it 'he texted a message in to the show' (current BBC language - BBC2 Johnny Walker 3 August 2005, and heard many times on Radio 5 Live), or is it 'he sent a text message into the show'? (or maybe even 'he sent a text into the show.') We say drop the word Texted!
