The
BBC began the most impressive Dr Who series in it's
history last night. The lighting was fantastic, the
acting superb, Billy Piper was a cutie. The CGI just
pucker. OH, BBC: Why dontcha give a free copy of the
new Dr Who DVD to all your hard up license payers!
No, didn't think you'd do that, you license funded
scum.

Why
Oh Why Oh Why Does The BBC Show So Many Repeats?
|
The
disgraceful BBC brought us another revamped repeat
last night. What are they playing at? The same old
characters in the same old saving the world from aliens
rubbish. Isn't it time the BBC brought itself up to
date and started saving the world from the much more
dangerous asylum seekers? Have we got to do everything
ourselves?

Twas
as if finding this new series of Dr Who in a small
clearing in the jungle that is Saturday evening family
tea time viewing. Said we: 'Oh, look, over there,
by the red London bus, a Tardis, all blue and grubby,
as if it is still 1974'. And it was so. The Tardis,
that is, of course, smaller on the outside than it
is on the inside, that consummate metaphor of the
depth of something or other. Writer Russell T Davis
surely must, after this gargantuan masterpiece, finally
be crowned the greatest homosexual in the world?
