The BBC has admitted to the House of Commons Media Select Committee that it it
'worried about the effects that long hair is having on it's producers', according
to new documents released under the 30 year rule. The Director General, Sir Bartleby
Benjamin Hugo Humplebump III, told the committee that some of the 'hippy' producers
have suggested the following programme ideas: 'make over shows', camp men as television
presenters, 'home improvement shows' and 'reality television'.
