his latest interview with television's friendly chat show hosts, Tony Blair told
Des O'Connor that God had told him to invade Iraq, although, as the PM put it,
"not in as many words". Blair
continued: "It was more of a raised eyebrow. God's a bit like that. He doesn't
actually come out and say bomb this country or bomb that building, he just looks
at me moist-eyedly, as if he is about to cry. Strange that, he must be really
proud." |
