The News of the World and The Sun were forced to make an apology and pay damages for running a story which implicated Ashley Cole, yesterday. The newspapers used an identifiable, but pixellated, image of Cole in the story, they did not actually name the star. Cole was identified by a website based on the picture that the newsgroup published.

Yesterday, Ashley Cole saved England from going 1-0 down within the first 10 minutes of the match against Ecuador, that England eventually won by just 1-0.

Whose side are they on? Clearly not ours.
