A rare verified spotting of Elvis Presley was made this morning in Clacton-On-Sea.

The King thanked the ticket seller on the Pier after he bought a book of 24 tickets for rides for himself and his entourage.

The King then gave an impromptu version of Jailhouse Rock before signing autographs.

Elvis Presley died today, 30 years ago.
