Jack
Charles, of 45 MacKenzie Close, Tewkesbury, was arrested last night by police
and charged with causing the floods earlier in the year.
Charles,
it is claimed, stuffed too much toilet paper down the toilet causing the sewers
to flood. This year's Tewkesbury floods were the worst in living memory.
A
spokesman for the police told this newspaper: "We are not talking about just
a couple of tens of sheets of loo roll here, he managed to get through a whole
roll in one afternoon."
Charles
was suspected of using too much toilet paper after a recycling collector noticed
14 loo roll middles put out for recycling. Charles, 35, who lives alone, should
only have put out a maximum of 3, according to government figures.
Kelvin
MacKenzie, after whom the road was named, told this website: "F**k off you
liberal f***** p****."
