The only copy of The Register Of Members Interests on which all MP donations and gifts are declared, has gone missing.

The register, that had been put on a CD for safe keeping, was lost some time between tea time and early evening drinkies.

The CD was not encrypted or had a password but had a picture of Nigella Lawson on it to make it look like it was a CD from the cooking goddess.

In the meantime MPs have been asked to remember what interests they had already declared and send them in again.
