Gordon Brown has been spotted preparing to attend a secret Ditherers Anonymous meeting in a video posted on the internet, we can now reveal.

The video, posted on YouTube, shows the Prime Minister standing at the door of the meeting debating with himself whether to enter the room.

Thirty minutes later Brown opens the door and enters to applause from those inside. A man can be seen hugging the Prime Minister, who tells him that he has just taken the first step. The door then closes.

There is no video of the actual meeting.
