Children cried more hysterically than ever as their parents told them they had to go to bed before the end of this epic, no holds barred, tennis match.

Only two embarrassing defeats lay ahead of this brave tennis player in his quest to reach the final, the first time a Scotsman has made that journey since Mel Gibson in Braveheart.

Murray Was Mint To Win!

Andy Murray came to the rescue of beleaguered Scottish British PM Gordon McBrown this evening.

Murray, who looked like he was about to let it all slip away at the last minute, just like Brown, gripped on to his racket for dear life and managed someway somehow to snatch a victory taking him into the Quarter finals, a record.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house as Britain at last looked like it might actually win something at Wimbledon...
