Am I the only one who was disappointed in the subdued gaiety of the gay bishop who spoke the other night?

I'll be honest I was expecting a speaker more like Larry Grayson, Freddy Mercury or Elton John. At least someone who sounded as if they were 'out'.

I don't think he was trying very hard.

No lavish arm movements or any homely gay mannerisms, either.

Surely such a nice man couldn't possibly cause a schism in the Anglican Church if his gayness is as low as that? I can think of many more gayer sounding bishops than he.
